“One if by land, and two if by sea,
And I on the opposite shore will be,
Ready to ride and spread the alarm
Through every Middlesex village and farm
For the country folk to be up and to arm”
“Paul Revere’s Ride,” by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, 1860
One week before the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s ride, bestselling author Kostya Kennedy comes to Trenton to share the story of a pivotal moment leading to the American Revolution, and separate what we grew up learning from what really happened.
The Trenton Historical Society and The Masonic Temple invite you to learn about “The Ride” with author Kostya Kennedy at 5:30 on Friday, April 11, at The Masonic Temple 100 Barrack Street Trenton
The presentation is free, as is parking in state lots on the river side of the War Memorial
The author will sign copies of his book purchased at the event. A portion of those proceeds will benefit the Trenton Historical Society.
This event is made possible by The Trenton Historical Society with support from the Princeton Cranbury Chapter, New Jersey Society, Sons of the American Revolution, and the Grand Lodge of New Jersey ~ Free & Accepted Masons.
