Know all men by these present that I Stacy Potts of Trenton in the County of Hunterdon and Province of New Jersey Tanner am held and firmly bound unto Ann Coningham of the City of Philadelphia single woman in the full and just sum of Eighty Pounds Current proclamation Money to be paid unto the said Ann Coningham her Heirs Exec’rs Administrators or Afsigns and for the true payment thereof I do bind my self my Heirs Executors and Administrators firmly by thefe presents Sealed with my Seal and dated this twenty ninth day of Septebmer in the year of our Lord one Thoufand Seven Hundred and Sixty Seven………………………………………………………..1767

The Condition of this obligation is such that if the above Bounden Stacy Potts his Heirs Executors Adm’rs or either of them shall well and truly pay or caufe to be paid unto the above named Ann Coningham her certain Attorney Heirs Executors Administrators or afsigns the full and Just sum of forty Pounds like money aforefaid and that on or before the Twenty ninth Day of September next enfuing the date hereof with Lawfull Interest for the same then this prefent obligation shall be void and of none effect otherwife to be and Remain in full force & Virtue
