This Indenture Made the Twenty eighth Day of July ~~ in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Six and in the Sixth Year of the Reign of George the third of great Briton France and Ireland King Defender of Faith &c. Between Benjamin Biles Esq’r of Trenton in the County of Hunterdon and Province of New Jerfey of the one part and Stacy Potts of the Townfhip and County aforefaid Tanner of the other part Witnefseth that the said Benjamin Biles for and in Consideration of the sum of Six Hundred and fifty Pounds current Proclamation Money to him in Hand paid by the said Stacy Potts before the Enfealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof he the said Benjamin Biles doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and every part thereof doth hereby Acquit Exenorate Releafe and Discharge the said Stacy Potts his Heirs Executors Administrators and Afsigns by these presents Hath Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeofed Releafed Conveyed and Confirmed and by these prefents doth fully freely and Abfolutely Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeof Releafe Convey and Confirm unto the said Stacy Potts his Heirs and Afsigns forever~all that Lott of Land wheron the Tan Yard is Situated now in the Actual Pofsefsion of him the said Stacy Potts being that Lott which was purchafed by the said Benj’a Biles of John Sober of the City of Philadelphia by one Indenture bearing Date ~the Twenty Second Day of Aprill one Thoufand Seven Hundred & forty two Recorded in the Secretary’s Office at Burlington in Liber I:K of Deeds fol. 373 Together With the Houfe and other Lott of Land where said Stacy Potts now Dwelleth which was purchafed by the said Benj’a Biles of David Martin Esq’r high Sherrif of the County of Hunterdon as by Indenture Bearing Date the fourteenth Day of November in the Year of our Lord one Thoufand seven Hundred and forty five Recourfe being thereunto had may more at large appear Bounded as specified in the abovesaid Indenture with all and singular the Houfes Buildings Orchards Gardens Meadows ways waters water Courfes fencings Improvements Emoluments Heriditraments and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Lotts of Land and premises belonging or any ways Appertaining which are or have been accepted reputed taken known used Occupied or Enjoyed to or with the same as part or parcill thereof or of any part thereof and also the revertion and revertions remainder and remainders Rents Ifsues proffits and advantages of the premises abovesaid and every part and parcill thereof and also all the Estate Right Title Interest Use Pofsefsion Property Claim & Demand whatfoever as well in Law as Equity of him the said Benjamin Biles of in to to any part or parcill thereof and all Deeds Evidences and writings Relating to or concerning the said premifes hereby Granted or any part thereof To have and to Hold the said two Lotts of Land and premises with every of the appurtenances above Granted and every part and parcill thereof unto the said Stacy Potts his Heirs & Afsigns to the only proper Ufe benefit and behoof of him the s’d Stacy Potts his Heirs & Afsigns forever And the said Benjamin Biles for himself his Heirs Executors and Adminstrators doth Covenant Grant and agree to and with the said Stacy Potts his Heirs Executors Administrators and afsigns that he the said Benjamin Biles hath in himself good Right Lawfull and abfolute authority in his own Right to grant bargain and sell the above granted premises with their Appurtenances unto the said Stacy Potts his Heirs and afsigns according to the true Intent and meaning of these presents that he hath not wittingly or willingly committed omitted suffered any Act matter or thing whatsoever whereby the same shall be charged burthened or Incumbered in any manner howfoever And that the said Stacy Potts his heirs and Afsigns shall and may at all times forever hereafter peaceably and quietly have hold use Occupy pofsefs Enjoy all and Singular the above granted premises with the Appurtenances without the Lett Trouble hinderance Molestation Interruption or denial of him the said Benjamin Biles his Heirs & Afsigns and of all and every other perfon or perfons whatsoever And that freed and Discharged or otherwise well & Sufficiently kept harmlefs and indemprified of and from all former and other Bargains Sales gifts grants Mortgages Leases Joyntures Dowers Uses wills Intails fines Ifsues Amerciaments Seizures Bonds Annuities writings Obligatory Recognizances Extents Judgements Executions Rents and Areariges of Rent and of and from all other Charges Troubles and Incumberances whatsoever had made committed done or suffered by the said Benjamin Biles to or with his knowledge Afsent Confent procurement or Approbation or by any other perfon Claiming or pretending to Claim by from or under him the said Benjamin Biles his Heirs Executors Adminiftrators or Afsigns  or any other perfon whatsoever shall warrant and forever will Defend by these prefents and lastly that he the said Benjamin Biles his Heirs Executors & Adminiftrators shall and will from time to time and at all times hereafter uppon the Reafonable request and at the proper Coft and Charges of him the said Stacy Potts his Heirs and Afsigns Make do Ackowledge and Execute or cause or procure to be Made done Acknowledged and Executed all and every such further & other Act and acts thing and things Devise and Devises Conveyance and Conveyances in the Law whatfoever for the further better more full and perfect granting Conveying Confirming and afsuring the abovesaid Tan Yard Houfe and two Lotts of Land with every of the Appurtenances unto the said Stacy Potts his Heirs and Afsigns to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Stacy Potts his Heirs and Afsigns forever as by the said Stacy Potts his Heirs or Afsigns or by his or their Councill learned in the Law shall be reafonably Devised Advised or Required In Witnefs whereof the said Benjamin Biles hath hereunto set his Hand and Seal the Day and Year first above Written
