The Trenton Historical Society is now offering, for a fee, limited look-up services.
Right now we are offering 5 different services:

1) Copies of obituaries that appeared in a Trenton newspaper, if you supply the date. You can find on-line obituary indexes for the years 1901-1926, 1984, and part of 1985 at: http://trentonhistory.org/Exp/Obits.htm
 
2) Searches of Trenton City Directories, one name for a 10-year period. Directories were published in 1845 (businesses only), 1854, 1857, 1859; then annually or semi-annually from 1865 to 1939 & 1945 to 1971.
 
3) High quality photocopies of images from Trenton High School Yearbooks. On-line listing of some Trenton yearbooks are available at: http://www.trentonhistory.org/Exp/HSYearBooks.htm
 
4) Copies of personnel records from John A. Roebling and Sons, Department #50. The available records are listed at:
http://www.trentonhistory.org/Made/Workers.htm
 
5) Copies of Trenton Tax Records/Photos from the 1930s. Originally every address in Trenton had a record, unfortunately some addresses have been lost so please email the Society at services@trentonhistory.org to first verify that a photo/record exists for a given address.


For the first 4 services send a self-addressed, stamped envelope, the name & date of the obituary; name & 10-year time period of directory search; the graduate's name & the yearbook name & date or the name of the employee, and a check for $5 per obituary/search/yearbook photo/employye record made out to the Trenton Historical Society to:

For the tax records/photos, please email first. The cost is $5 per photo per address & $5 per tax record per address.
